It’s been a while since I last posted on the blog but to be fair, I have been deeply invested in working on my first transcript for my upcoming book. The pending title is “Drawing Closer to the Divine” and it will be essentially a guide for beginner devotional polytheists. I am hoping to have my first draft finished by the end of the year – if not sooner. I will soon have details available for anybody who wishes to beta read as I will also be needing third party ears and eyes to look and see how sensical it is before beginning my second draft.
That being said, I wanted to reach out in general towards the population of people who are reading this blog because I have been wanting some information regarding the kinds of people my audience are. It hasn’t been lost on me that the amount of views has been indicating that there is an immense amount of interest in this area of polytheism and the concepts I have available on here. However, this is not a religion that is meant to be practiced on our own.
I have known myself to be a loner for many years. Even when I have worked with a community, I have never truly found kindred souls within the mainstream pagan population. When I do meet them, they are typically unsavory characters that possibly stray too far on the side of people who I wish to have no affiliation with who are typically bigoted.
It has taken a lot of work for me to reach the point where I am again able to reach out towards the community. For those who have been watching my blog closely (whomever that is, I have no idea), I have been moving things around and navigating what I actually would want to do with this concept I have in my head.
However, I believe that I will organically need to pursue whatever argument I have for creating an idea of community both in person and online which means I will need to engage with the needs of people before developing anything further.
So, if you live on the east coast of the United States, mid-Atlantic region, please find my contact page here. I promise I will not bite. Even if you don’t, please stop in and say “hi.” The more people I bring in, the less lonely it is for all of us who do this kind of work to find each other and make change happen.
Thank you in advance to all those who have inspired me to keep writing. I am going to update this blog again with more information but for now, I am probably going to keep working on my book as it feels important for me to finish that.
At the same time, I have made more short-form content on Tumblr and I am going to continue to make short-form content on TikTok possibly. You can find my respective accounts linked here.
Don’t be afraid to reach out! I really want to get to know more people – especially if you work with Loki.
